Everybody at the Cyber Cafe would like to welcome Marion Stephenson into the team of volunteers. Marion heard about the great work the Cyber Cafe does and came along to our staff meal in February, she was so encouraged she took the decision to get involved. Marion will be a welcome addition the the team as we look forward to the future. Staff Meal a success!
On Friday 5th February, our first staff meal was held at the Black Horse. Those in attendance were all of the volunteers, our new team of young leaders and of course Vic and Charley Trykush. 
It acted as the opportunity to get to know each other better, as due to new volunteers and varying shifts not everyone was familiar with the entire team. It was also Joe Harris' birthday - So happy birthday to him! All agreed that the excellent food and the opportunity to meet and discuss cafe life and issues were worth it. Vic and the team will be using the meeting to get the cafe running to its maximum potential. |
